1 – Why Wifo?

Taking advantage of the experience and professional background of WIFO and as part of a development of technological innovation, in 2015 we launched Wifo, a project aimed at offering connectivity solutions based on the convergence of technologies .

Currently there are more devices connected to the Internet than people in the world. The growing demand for data and the excessive saturation of networks make it necessary to implement new technologies that allow high capacities and optimize the use of the spectrum to the maximum , avoiding current problems such as: saturation, lack of coverage, slowness, low capacity, connection failures…

Wifo was born as a response to all these problems by proposing connectivity solutions based on the combination of different technologies (fixed-mobile) through Small Cells > or small base stations, which allow coverage, capacity and speed to be increased, at a very low cost and with a simple installation.

Wifo is a heterogeneous network model that combines and interconnects wireless or fiber optic access technologies to offer the best coverage and service deployment. WIFO offers a real model of fixed-mobile convergence.
